The Project
BiomimicrySA aims to design a framework of nature-inspired learning interventions within subjects of the CAPS curriculum to create opportunities for nature reconnection within the classroom (PBL)

The Goal
Our aim is to align the BYDC with the CAPS curriculum competency framework, serving as a PBL tool by 2035. This tool will leverage Biomimicry as an interdisciplinary framework, enabling students to practice and apply Biomimicry Principles, entrepreneurship, and essential 21st-century skills and emerging as empowered change-makers capable of understanding and navigating the complexities of today's globalized world.
This project is about more than education; it’s about inspiring hope and showing young people that they have the power to change their circumstances. We hope to ignite a spark of curiosity and innovation, showing students that their ideas and actions can make a real difference in the world.
